It’s hard to believe that an entire month has passed since I started recording this journey. I can say confidently that I am back to my former state of conditioning. I even look pretty much the same. I am still quite a bit heavier (maybe 10lbs…) I am not overly concerned with this. I feel great. I will continue monitoring the journey a few more weeks to detail the scale falling back down. Part of me is glad that it is taking a little longer than I expected. I believe that it shows that this journey is not easy for anyone. Even with my previous successes in fasting I still deal with daily challenges.

There is one piece I would like to highlight here, and I hope it has been a noticeable theme over these past few weeks.

Habits win the battle.

This is not about perfection; it is about consistency.

When you are focusing on your own plans, I encourage you to place the majority of your efforts into the daily habits. What you do 90% of the time is what your body will reflect. No one is perfect, don’t try to change your entire life in one day. Make steady changes through consistent habits.

Use motivation to build habits, and those habits will change your lifestyle.

Today I had an intense HIIT session followed by a 1-mile jog. I ate at a buffet and filled up on proteins, before moving on to desserts. I finished my meal time by 4:15, which is a tad earlier than I would like. I will need to try to stay open longer tomorrow in preparation for Monday.
