Routines

Today I felt the change that I have been waiting for. I have mentioned it a few times in talking about adaption. I like to estimate 3-5 weeks for the adaption phase of a new routine. Today I am not quite at 3 weeks and I felt the shift towards normalcy. I was not hungry when it was time to break. I actually forgot to eat when it was time because I was busy. I ended up breaking at just over 24 hours into my fast.

I broke with hamburgers and sausages; I had some chocolates for dessert. I only stayed open for an hour; I will gauge how that leaves me feeling tomorrow. I suspect that with my current bodyweight focused training plan, I will require less calories. This should mean less hunger on days that I go longer on my fast.

Tomorrow’s exercise should be a short, fairly quick group run. I will do bodyweight exercises throughout the day. Pushups and abs will be a priority focus.
